The Second Presbyterian Church Preschool is a weekday program giving children 15 months through 5 years of age an opportunity to obtain readiness skills in a structured, school related environment. Enrollment is open to the public. Serving our community for over 40 years, Second Pres Preschool has established itself as a highly regarded program (licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services) that teaches preschool age children essential pre-kindergarten skills, as well as socialization, language, and offering physical development opportunities. Classes are offered throughout the school year with both half day and full day options, depending on age.

Registration is on-going as long as openings exist.
Typically registration begins the first of January for the following school year.

For the 2008-2009 school year class times and costs are as follows:

• Toddlers (15 months by Sept. 1, 2008):
  • Mondays & Fridays, 9-11:15 a.m. $85/month
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9-11:15 a.m. $85/month
• Twos (2 years old by Sept., 1, 2008):
  • Tues. & Thurs., 9-11:25 a.m. $90/month
  • Wed. & Fri., 9-11:25 a.m. $90/month
• Threes (3 years old by Sept. 1, 2008):
  • Mon., Wed., Fri., 9-11:40 a.m. $125/month
    
  • Tues. & Thurs., 9-11:40 a.m. $100/month
• Fours (4 years old by Sept. 1, 2008):
  • Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs., 8:45-11:45 a.m $145/month
  • Mon., Wed., Fri., 8:45-11:45 a.m. $130/month
